Today is the day! After a short 2 months that seemed like forever, I met with the surgeon to discuss my case and to set a surgery date. The appointment went well, I met the surgeon and he agreed that I was a great candidate for VSG WLS. He wanted me to get a little bit of weight off before the surgery, and asked that I schedule the surgery out one month. Which is what we decided to do, I now have a surgery date of 12/4/18, exactly one day before my 40th birthday! Talk about an awesome and scary birthday present.
